SmartNav with Windows 7 in VMWare: issues when mouse cursor

Post by Franck Dernoncourt »

I use Windows 7 Enterprise in VMWare with Mac OS X 10.10 as host. VMWare is configured to use 3 monitors, which Windows 7 recognizes well.

However, when I use SmartNav to move the mouse cursor, the latter can only move in the monitor in which it started: the mouse cursor is blocked at the edges of the monitor. How to fix this issue?

I want to use the SmartNav software for Windows, i.e. I do not want to buy Mac OS X software from RJ Cooper & Associate.

I have set up the multi-monitor setting in VMWare as follows:

Thanks,
Franck

Franck,

I know I answered a question about VMWare on a different forum post from you. Did you have any other questions regarding it?
