Windows10 Upgrade Fail

I was using Windows 7, and finally decided to go ahead with the free Windows 10 upgrade. My SmartNav device worked for about a half a second before it completely stopped working. The software opened up but didn't track my reflective dot. It gave me no error messages, it simply didn't track. The light on the IR camera stays off but the light is never really that dependable anyway. So I tried installing the latest version of the software from the website but the installer only runs half way before freezing up. The installer did manage to completely remove the SmartNav software I already had installed however. I use these computers for my work and can't use them without my SmartNav device so I need to resolve this quickly. Are there known Windows 10 compatibility issues? Please help! Thank you.

Ok, my bad I guess? After the 3rd reset I attempted a 4th and then another reinstall out of sheer desperation. Everything worked and is still working perfectly. I can only chalk it up to the fickle will of Zeus.
