cursor sticking to edge of screen

Every time I try to move my cursor it flies to the edge of the screen and sticks there. I reboot but the same thing happens again. Sometimes it even happens when I move the mouse manually, but only if smartnav is turned on. What's going on here? I'm running Windows 7.

What is your SmartNav tracking or seeing when this happens? I'm not sure what would cause it to stick there, but I've had it happen when a second trackable object came into focus and forced the cursor to move to a different location.
