Using SmartNav with TrackIR software

Hi,

I own a SmartNav from a few years ago and I was wondering if it can be used as a TrackIR using its software? I really don't want to purchase a new headtracker to play games.

I do believe it will work. You can use a SmartNav as a TrackIR, but not a TrackIR as a SmartNav.
