dwellclicker compatibility

Using trackIR for a long time. Recently downloaded 2.14. Now, couple times a week, I get an error message "dwellclicker not compatible with this version. Go to naturalpoint.com for latest dwellclicker" (not verbatim). After manually clicking OK, Naturalpoint continues to work, but Dwellclicker then shuts down. Any fix for this?

Hello:

Do you have an AT unit? Does the dwell clicker work most of the time? This is a security feature in our software, if you don't have an AT system it will turn off the Dwell Clicker after a bit. Post your serial # and I can tell you what unit type you have.

Serial number is 001917. It's on loan to me from ALSA. I use this one at work. I also use my own at home with no problems. Dwell clicker works fine most of the time.

Sorry for the late reply, just missed this thread being updated.

That serial # should be an AT unit. It sounds like you are getting some data errors and that is causing the system to think that it is not an AT unit. This can be caused by too much interference in the Data Window under Advanced Settings or by a unit that has some fault in it.
