smartnav and trackir software

I would like to know can i use trackir software on smartnav unit ??The case on this one is clear

The SmatNav hardware will allow either software set to be installed and used, although only one can be installed at a time. If you want to switch software, you will have to uninstall the one program and reinstall the other.

The TrackIR hardware will only allow you to use the TrackIR software.

Both programs are available in the support sections.
