Windows Update made me turn the BITS Service on today. I'm going to try turning that off
Should I upgrade Smartnav now? There are some threads here which have made me wait?

To get rid of this problem, in version 2.5x,
Click the "Right" function under switches and change this setting from Right Click to Pause then click save.
As for upgrading to 3.x, you must have a serial number greater than 16400. If you do, then you can download the new verison.
IMPORTANT!!!!!
Make sure you uninstall the 2.5x version completely before installing 3.x
