LED lights switching off when I use nearby equipment

I own a smart nav3. I have been using it for about a year now. Recently
the LED lights have been turning off every time I use my disabled page turner,
this is a piece of equipment that enables me to turn pages over on books
and magazines. I am using a large jelly button for the page turner which is similar
to the large button that I use to left click on the smart nav.

Has anybody else had any trouble with the LED lights switching off
on the smart nav when you use a piece of equipment nearby?

This is really frustrating as I need to turn the pages on magazines
and books when studying design on the computer.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards, Ryan

So the page turner is not plugged into the PC?

no it is not Vincent, all of the wires and plugs on the page turner are completely separate from my computer system.

Very weird, As there should be nothing that would cause the unit to turn off.

Is it just the green LED going off, or are the red IR leds also turning off?

Does the page turner use any kind of wireless signaling for its button? Could you provide the manufacturer and model information for the device as well?
