The manual states thatusing a hat with a large reflective dot will increase precision by a factor of 2X. Does this mean that any number of large dots well increase precision by 2? Examples, if I put 3 large reflective dots on the track hat, which has a brim that reflects, then it will increase the resistance by 6?

No, the increased precision is in regards to the distance that the reflective dot is away from the point of rotation, not the size of the reflector itself.
