What does Locking Computer do to SmartNav Hot Keys?
I lock the computer, keep SmartNav running, leave and come back to the desk, unlock the computer... I find that the SmartNav Hot Keys refuse to work, while the tracking still seems to be normal. Exit & Restart SmartNav fixes the problem, but I wish to not have to remember that every time I step away. Is this a common issue, and can there be a permanent fix?
The system is Windows XP Pro 64-bit.
Thank you..

Are you running any keyboard software as well?
Do you have a function lock key, on your keyboard?

The keyboard is a standard Dell 104-key USB keyboard in default plug-and-play setting.
Are there specific keys I should avoid using for SmartNav Hot Keys?
Currently I have Scroll Lock assigned to Center, and Pause/Break assigned to Pause.
Thank you..

Yes, it seems like all keyboard inputs are simply not heard by SmartNav after Locking & Unlocking the system. (Win XP Pro 64-bit)
Logging off & Logging back on starts up the SmartNav just as well as starting up the system. But I don't want to exit from all application in order to take a break or to go to lunch.

OK, it is something we will look into, unfortunately we do not have a timeline for a quick fix for it.

I just updated to the latest driver version 3.2 build 37, and I'm not noticing any changes regarding this particular issue.

Hello Junkatagiri -
I wanted to let you know that we are still working on this issue. Unfortunately, this is a fairly complex issue and will require a more involved solution than a simple fix or minor version update. As soon as we have a fix for this, and we can get it through beta, we will get it posted.
Thanks for keeping us on this -

Thank you.
I did not get a notice about the bug fix, but the issue seems to have been resolved. The hot keys work fine before and after the computer system is locked/unlocked.
