Smartnav not tracking in game

Hi,

Just got the Smartnav 4 a few weeks ago. I have major RSI problems in both wrists and have to say, this product is fantastic!

I have used it only at work but yesterday I installed it on my home PC so I could try it with an old game I used to play, Starcraft.

The Smartnav tracks when moving around web pages but will not respond within the game....

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can change so it works?

Try manually setting your desktop to 800x600 before playing. Starcraft forces a resolution change and this could be breaking your SmartNav software during gameplay.

Hi Mike,

I tried changing my screen resolution and then launching the game. Mouse still does not track.

I also tried launching the game and then starting Smartnav. Same result.

Mouse override is set at 0, as i saw that mentioned in a couple of other posts.

Does anyone know for certain if it should work for the original Starcraft game? Or any other suggestions to try and make it work?

What OS are you using?

I was able to play StarCraft (in the name of research, I assure you) with my SmartNav just fine. I got zerg'd constantly because I'm not as adept at using the headmouse as I'd like to be, but with a slower game speed I did better.

Glad to hear there is a chance of it working! I am using Windows 7, 64 bit.
