hi everyone, i am newbie and just started with NatNet couple of days back. I wonder what are these marker sets, rigid body and skeleton. I have read the user guide but could not relate with what is happening in the Sample code provided in the SDK?
I knw it is naive Q, but i guess it is very imp to understand the basics if i have to implement in my app.

Hi prasad,
You can use the NatNet SDK to stream different information from an OptiTrack application to your own. Depending on the OptiTrack application you are using, the information available to stream will vary. Ultimately, you can stream 3 DOF data for markers, 6 DOF data for rigid bodies (several markers grouped together in a rigid formation), or joint-angle data from skeletons.
Maybe it would be best for you to explain your application, and how you're planning on using motion capture data within it. From there, we can advise on the best OptiTrack application as well as the appropriate information to stream from it via NatNet.
