Camera freezing, system locking up

Post by BitBucketBob »

I just received a V120:Trio OptiTrack package. I have installed the Tracking Tools 2.5.1.64-bit software on:

HP Elitebook 8760w
i7 8GB RAM
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
NVidia Quadro 3000M

I have only done the basic "Create from visible" and let it run. What I have observed is that after a period of time, one of the cameras (not always the same one) will stop updating. I have also observed that if I continue on, that another of the two remaining cameras will stop updating.

I have also found that this application will from time to time completely lock up my computer. The last time this occurred, I had selected the "View from trackable" view.

Any suggestions as to how I can avoid these anomalies?

Regards,

BBB

Are you plugged into a USB port on the left or right side of the laptop?

The issue was the USB 3 port being used. BBB switched over to the usb 2 ports on his laptop and is no longer having issues.
