Using V120slim cameras and we are having issues with the IR filter not opening on several cameras to allow us to get a "live feed" for calibrating the camera. What are some common reasons why this may happen and are there any simple fixes?
Cameras have been tested linked directly to computer with 6' USB cables and also through geffen USB extenders. Computers are 64bit running Windows 7

What software are you using with the cameras? If it is Camera SDK, could you please post your code?
I see you have tested the cameras linked directly and through the USB extender. Does the behavior happen in both circumstances?
I am also curious if the filter never switches over, or if it is happening intermittently.
