Job of eSync

Hello,

I intend to install a MoCap-System for biomechanical analysis of the golf swing. Therefore I thought about 6 cameras Prime 17w and the tracking-software Motive Body. In the bundles with the Prime 17w cameras there is not only a switch but also an eSync. A colleague told me, that the cameras will synchronize themselves. Is the eSync upgrading the synchronization of the cameras? Becomes the measurement more accurately with the eSync? Or is it only worth for synchronizing with a further equipement (for example another video)?

Hi Andrea,

The eSync is purely for external synchronization and/or Time Code. The cameras will synchronize properly with or without an eSync present.
