Best Practices for PRIME 13 cameras
Best Practices for PRIME 13 cameras
We just upgraded our setup from Flex 13 cameras to Prime 13 cameras. I was wondering about power management with this new system. Can we keep the cameras in Hibernation mode when the studio is not in use? Or is it best to power down the switch when the system is not in use?

Re: Best Practices for PRIME 13 cameras
Hi tlepp,
The cameras have a very long life, even if you leave them in hibernation rather than turning them off. In hibernation they may continue to draw some small amount of power, however, so if you want to consider your power use we would suggest powering off the hubs.
I hope you find this to be useful. If you have any other technical questions, please feel free to reach out to us at help.naturalpoint.com
