Optitrack and Leap Motion offset

Hello,
we are working on a AR project using the leapmotion VR set up (Orion) with Oculus Rift in Unity. We are tracking utensils and the Oculus with an Optitrack sytem and are having issues of parallax, or offset perspective.
When someone is picking up the tracked object, the LeapMotion hands are always 2-3 inches off.
(cfr. screencapture here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7zvxeqzik4gnk ... m.mp4?dl=0 ).
Is there a way in Opitrack to set up the perspective or world coordinates?
Or if some one have any idea of what the problem might be, I'd really appreciate sharing their insights!
