Active Tags not recognized

Post by norbert »

Hi

I tried to use the Active Tags (for hand tracking) with no success. I do not see any markers in Motive.

I did the following:
- Using Prime 17W cameras
- Active BaseStation is connected
- Motive: Is to Active Markers
- Active Puck is working correctly and markers are visible in Motive

Questions:
- How do I charge the Battery (I did it by connecting USB and the battery on the tag)
- Is there a power switch on the active tags?
- What does the red and green LED on the active tag stand for?
- Did I miss a Setting in Motive?

Best

Hello norbert,

Could you please share a recording (.tak) with our Support team? This will help us to troubleshoot together.

Status LED and battery behavior can be dependent on the version tag you are using. If you could please include an order number when contacting us, we can lookup what was purchased to determine the expected behavior.

Thanks,
Steven

Dear Steven

Just found out that there is an tiny On/Off Switch on the tag.
The tag is now recognized.

Maybe it would be helpful to add a hint on the active tag support wiki page, where this On/Off Switch is located.

Thanks very much.

Best,
Norbert

Hello guys
Regretfully, it appears that the active tags are not being picked up. The user experience and functioning may be impacted by this problem. I'm hoping for a quick fix so that everything runs smoothly and works at its best.
