Help getting started?

Hello, I was gifted the MCP200 suit and would like to create poses and animations for games such as Secondlife and the Sims yet I'm unsure of how to get started? Will I need more than just the suit and blender? Can it be done with my phone's camera? Or what all do I truly need to begin please?
