I am developing motion capture software. I currently use six webcams and have my own marker detection routine, but it looks like using OptiTrack is better. Can I get answers to the below questions? Thanks in advance.
-Are the frames received from different cameras time-synchronized? Or is it possible to find out the exact time the frame was captured?
-Does it handle lens distortion correction?
-How close two markers can be to each other and still be detected as two markers?
-Is it possible to configure brightness/contrast level used for marker detection?
-Will using 15ft USB extension cables/hubs cause any significant delay?
-What is the maximum number of markers that can be used?
-What is the maximum number of cameras that can be used?
-Is it possible to update the firmware if newer one is released?
