syncing camera and audio

Hi all,

Does any one have a good process of syncing a motion capture session with audio?

I have an external camera mic that records from 24,25,30,60 FPS. I am trying to sync my motion capture to 25fps so as to properly sync the audio and capture session.

Does anyone do it like this or does adjusting frame rates and audio syncing(non real time) usually happen in post?

how ever the framerate is,.. just make sure all runs in the right speed.

to sync the stuff, movie people helped them self with a film clap.

you could let your actor clap hands at the beginning of the take.. so you have something to sync.

...but maybe i am not getting the question right ;D

I think scene a/v might be the best way to synch audio and video.
