kneeling or lying ( stuck in mocap session )

Post by ckdas.bcs »

Is it possible to capture a kneel down motion or falling on the floor or rolling on floor with a setup where 8 cameras are placed at heights of 7 foot and 9 foot on four corners. Or is a different setup required for the cameras?

For kneeling you can put the shin markers on the back of the legs instead of the front. As to laying and/or rolling on the floor I would love to know if there is some way to do this.

Hi Dave

Thanks for the reply.

Hey do you ever get a jitter on all the markers? I have been having a lot of problem with my body shivering.

I haven't seen any problem with jitter or shivering on the markers as long as I have a clean capture space with no extraneous marker data showing up. You may want to check your lighting maybe its causeing some interference with the camera LEDs.

Also it could be caused by a calibration of the cameras, that needs to be redone.
