I'll add myself to the list .. I am currently looking for options, and just passed by trackIR after seeing something about no support, but lucky I found this thread, just to voice that I am a customer that is now looking at other possible solutions. I agree with the poster marcovd. I gave up trying to push companies into supporting linux, there's other options generally, looks as tho the market is there for someone tho
Thanks for you time.

Correct; as soon as we have more updated information, in regards to Linux support we will post it in the forums.

I am looking for a head tracking solution on Linux, and TrackIR hardware looks like a solid option. I will definitely buy the TrackIR 5 as soon as native Linux software (not involving Wine) will be available.

Please make TrackIR on Linux a thing.
Reasons:
- Steam.
- More and more game engines are being ported to Linux.
- Many flight sims and games that could/would use TrackIR already exist.
- With Vulkan being released, Linux is the future of gaming.

Hello,
I have impressed upon my dev how much Linux support is requested. Though I don't have anything to announce just yet, please know that I am working on all feature/support requests that come in. Hopefully one day I can give you the answer that you are looking for. Thank you for keeping up on this topic.
Regards,
Mike Witham

Thanks Mike,
I understand that getting your software working on Linux is a learning curve unto itself, so I hope the benefits of learning it can more than justify the time invested. Are you able to share what language TrackIR is written in?
