Error -2147417848

Most of my problems have been worked out or I have found ways to get around them - all except this one :
When camid=0 is executed - I get an error number : -2147417848, "The object invoked has disconnected from its clients."
I have to end execution of the program and restart it.
Well restarting it rarely works - exit out of VB sometimes rebooting the computer is the only thing that works.
This is a deal breaker for me.... I need to get this thing working... Any suggestions?
