Joystick hotkey mapping
Joystick hotkey mapping
I know this has come up a few times but it should get more profile as a feature request. Whilst some joystick profile software does allow buttons to be mapped to the current Function hotkeys, many joysticks don't have profiling software and so the ability for the TIR profile to accept joystick buttons as hotkeys would be a very useful feature.

Re: Joystick hotkey mapping
Seconded.
Also, some joysticks that are supposed to have keymapping, like mine, can loose that functionality with a change of one's O/S, DX, joystick drivers and/or conflict with other hardware, so the ability to use DX-buttons for TrackIR control would be useful for many. Please look into it. Thanks in advance.
PS I just ordered TrackIR on Sunday, I can hardly wait.

Re: Joystick hotkey mapping
Having just purchase a TrackIR GX I too lament the lack of mapping hotkeys to DX gameing devices.
Hopefully something can be done for a future release. (besides the long winded method of mapping controller keys to the keyboard TrackIR keys.....crossing your fingers....praying to the gods of the east....cursing when it doesnt work)

This is now on the boards for a near future release.
