This shouldn't be too hard to implement.
I'd really love to be able to - for example - enable scroll mode by pressing both foot pedals at once.

We have this feature on our list, but it would add a slight delay to clicking with just a single pedel, as it would be waiting to see if the other one was pressed as well. It will probably show up as an option in the next software rev.

Well, I'd simply add a configurable delay for the clicks.
Personally I wouldn't have a problem with Smartnav making a left click everytime I want to press both pedals, so I could just set the delay to 0.
If someone wants to add a dealy to his clicking he could set it to any time he'd like.
