and well, it's really cool and trackir looks ideal for it.
I'm curious as to why games with 6dof like FSX don't exhibit the effect seen in the video. Is it just that he chose a scene which greatly exaggerates the effect - had he placed all the targets within the screen (like in the flatter second example of the photo) then it would have looked like FSX?
The suggestion here is basically you make a demo app which does something similar to what is shown in the video using trackir, and show it to games developers and hope that some think it's cool enough to warrant dev time / give them another reason to include trackir support.

Actually FSX does have this capability (3d view) in conjunction with Nvidia 3d glasses.
