TrackIR not starting

I hve just bought a TrackIR4, it has been hardly working for a few days until now.

When I start the software (sometimes I have to try to start it twice), I have a few possible scenarios:
-The 4 LEDs turn on, but nothing is tracked at all:

When I shut down the program, the 4 LEDs are staying on.

-The software starts up, but nothing is happening, and all the lights are off on the TIR.

Power saving features are disabled.
I run on Win 7

edit: After a few tries, once the program opened up, the device was tracking for 1 second then it kind of "froze", with the 4 leds and the green led turned on, even if nothing was tracked. I took a screenshot:

It's like if the camera was freezing.

I tried on another computer, exact same problems. Is the device totally failing on me ?

After searching for a fix, it seems that my issue is similar to that user "mblixt", even if he's using a TIR5:

Hello -

First things first, let's try some installation troubleshooting:

Unplug your camera, and uninstall the TrackIR software.
Download a new copy of the latest version of the TrackIR software, and save it to your desktop (note: do not run from the downloader).
Right click on the installer, and select "Run as administrator" (even if your account is an administrator) Finish the installation as normal, plug in your camera, and verify that drivers are properly installed via the device manager.
Run the software, and see if it works properly.

In a vast majority of cases, this solves issues in Windows 7. The lights staying on after the software is closed is due to a hung process that we are in the process of tracking down and releasing a fix for. In the mean time, you can manually kill the trackir.exe process after shutting down the software through the task manager without issue. Additionally, an updated version of TrackIR will include a more Windows 7 friendly installation method.
