Downward Tracking Problem

Hi Guys
I have to say this piece of kit is absolutely brilliant - it has transformed my flight sim experience no end.
The only difficulty I have is that the tracking becomes jumpy and will not work properly when I am looking down past 60-70 degrees below horizontal - and is worse when I look down and to the left.
As I fly a Tiger Moth in FSX this means that it is difficult to consistently see and access the elevator trim knob. I have to do a lot of jigging around to get it and even then the image jumps around.
When I move my head down the axis all is ok until 60 - 70 degrees and I turn to the left or right and then the tracking goes back up and around in a circle so I have a large blind spot.
I can get around it as I said by trial and error but it is detracting from the full IR experience.
I have noticed that the top reflector of the three appears to be bent down and to the right (as I am wearing it) - down and to the left as you look at it. I wonder if this could be part of the problem. I don't want to try to bend it straight as the plastic is rigid.
I am not very technical so please any instructions in plain english would be gratefully received.
I hope someone can help
Regards
CA

Hello -

Is the clip in question a TrackClip (hat clip) or TrackClip Pro (headphones clip)? Could you post a picture of it?

Can you open the TrackIR software and switch to camera view? What happens when you move your head to the position that it's in when tracking breaks?

Hi Mike
I think I have managed to sort the problem out.
I read a few other posts and decided to look at altering the profile I was using. After a bit of trial and error I managed to adjust the profile by raising the whole profile line with the green up arrow - now it works just fine. I was very wary of doing this before but I guessed the worst that would have to happen is to uninstall.
The clip is the hat clip and it does look bent. When I dipped my head to "look down" especially to the left the tracking got to about -70 degrees and then went haywire dipping and juddering. But now it looks like I have cured it.
Awesome piece of kit - I don't see how people can use games without it. Now that I have discovered the way to change profiles I will be able to tweak it even more I am sure.
