unable to run TrackIr software

Hi,
i have a TrackIR 4 pro and a AMD Phenom II X4 960T with a Radeon HD 6870 graphic and Windows 7 64x. Whenever i try to start the TrackIR Software, the program immediately quits. I tried several re-installs, both as administrator and normal install. Switching back to the 4.183 software didn't help either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as i'm starting to get desperate:)

Is there an error message or event in your event log that explains the type of error?
I would recommend contacting our offices during business hours (9am to 5pm pst monday through friday) to arrange for a remote desktop session for further troubleshooting.

Hi Mike, thank you for your reply.
The error message reads (translated): TrackIR has stopped working. (TrackIR funktioniert nicht mehr (in german). After about 2 seconds i'm back on my desktop then. I'll try to get in touch with your office, can i refer to this thread here?

support@naturalpoint.com and reference this thread. I can send you an ATI OpenGL dll file that may alleviate the issue for you.

Hi!
When I try to install the trackIR4 pro on Windows 7-64 bit, I receive this message:
"Error support files
Class not registered"
and it stops the installation.
Any help ,please?

This is due to an issue with our installer and some versions of windows. There is a fix coming out in an upcoming version of TrackIR next month, however in the meantime I can offer a fix via email. Please contact
support@naturalpoint.com with a description of the issue and I will get the solution to you.
