Trackir 4 pro no device detected

I have been searching for this problem on the forum, but i didn't find anything. I am now with Win7 64x, and all softwares updated. Everytime I try to use my trackir it is dead. the software says no device detected and even when I restart the computer or try unnistaling and instaling again nothing works.
I have tryed with the trackir 4 and 5 softwares.
hope someone find my post in the deep sea and help me fix that

A couple quick questions, are you using a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port? And does the TrackIR show up in Device Manager under "NaturalPoint Devices"?

Hi,

same issues on my system.

Using TrackIR4 Pro with the 5.2.1 Final Software.

Software installs fine but it seems that the USB Drivers for the camera do not install correctly, it shows up as an unknown device in the device manager.

Issue occured on Win 7 64bit and i recently updated to Win 8 64bit and still experiencing the same issue.

The point NaturalPoint Devices is missing in device manager.

If you try running the installation again does it prompt you to install the drivers?

No it does not ask for Driver Installation.

Already looked into the TrackIR install Folder and there is no Folder named "Drivers" which i can Point the device Manager to.

I use 2.0 USB port i tryed in many different ports.
The software looks ok but the trackir itself(camera) is as unknown

Can you check to see if you have the folder where the drivers are installed?

If you're running a 64bit version of windows it should be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\NaturalPoint\USB Drivers x64

On 32bit versions of Windows it should be:
C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint\USB Drivers

If either of those folders are present, right click on the Unknown device and choose "Update device driver", choose "Browse my computer for driver software", point it to the correct folder and make sure "Include subfolders" is checked. Click through and it should install the driver.

If those folders aren't present email me at jeff@naturalpoint.com and we can schedule a time to do a remote support session and I'll get in there and take a look at it.
