Track IR4 not working after TrackIR 5.4.2.27545 update

I had Track IR version 5.0 final installed on a Window 7 ultimate. Track IR worked flawlessly. I saw a notification in the software that there was an update available and clicked on it.
Now the software does not see the camera. After about 3 hours of reading the forums and trying various fixes, I got it to recognize the camera.
I kept getting "The application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b). Click OK to close the application.
I rolled the driver back to Verson 5.0 final and it attempts to start but I still get the application error.
Very frustrating.
Any help available?
