Just got TrackIR for Christmas - Software install fine, but when I plug into USB Win XP Pro dectects new USB, Identifies it as Tracker IV then crashes and re-boots as soon as it attempts to install Driver. It find device on re-boot ask for driver... same results.
No previous versions on system - report file to Microsoft says it's a driver issue:-( Any Ideas on how to fix?

XP Pro crash/reboots when installing driver
Re: XP Pro crash/reboots when installing driver
Try uninstalling the software with add/remove programs and then delete the directory.
Reinstall this version:- http://media.naturalpoint.com/software/ ... .Final.exe and try again. Do not use a HUB with your TIR.

Barred,
Problem Fixed, Thanks!!!! I was plugging into a usb slot on my keyboard... Plugged into the computer directly and it worked fine... I also installed the "new" software from the link; but it appears to be the same version.
Thanks,
