Plug out when not in use?

Post by g7usl »

Is there any advantages in removing the plug while not in use?
Does/would this be of benefit?

I have never bothered to unplug the camera when not in use and have not had problems. One benifit to keeping the camera plugged in all the time is that there is no chance of the camera not being seen when a new USB device is added.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply 'Barred' (Wish you would use a name?).
The reason I asked was because in the advert video, it is shown as being plugged in when you want to use it?

I think thats meant to show how easy it is to set up if youre thinking of buying one mate. The only time I unplug anything USB is if I'm upgrading a device to something better or having problems.
