Hi, I have had my Track IR 4 working for 2 years and 3 months on the top of my CRT monitor and ran OK . I enjoyed a lot Flight Sims. Today when moving some cables behind the monitor, the TrackIR camera fell from the monitor to the keyboard. And it stopped to work. When I launch the software it says "No device is detected". It has disappeared from Windows' Device Manager list. No LEDs light, blue or red.

I tried everything: to unplug the camera, uninstall software, reboot, install soft and plug back and nothing. Several times. Even unpluging all other USB devices leaving TrackIR alone: nothing. I tried the registry fix here and it says "No devices detected nedded to be fixed". It seems it is dead.

Apparently the camera seems OK, no breaks, no hits, nothing. But LEDs do not light. May this stupid fall of some inches have broken internally the equipment?

Kind regards

You have tried moving USB ports?

Tried the device on another system?

Yes I tried other ports im my PC, all belonging to the motherboard and nothing.

And I have tested it also in 2 more computers, a desktop PC and a laptop and nothing. "No device detected", no LEDs lightning.

I am using version 4.1 build 35 of the software. My installing procedure is: running .exe program, till it finishes and then I plug the camera in one USB plug.

I am very sad.

Unfortunately, I would say that it has had some type of hardware failure

Unfortunately we do not have a repair service for the devices.

Hi, my TIR worked ok for a long time, but I've got a problem with it.
It's well detected by windows but software (TrackIR_4.1.037.Final) says that no device detected. I've tryed to install v.5 of TIR's software, it detected camera, shown it's serial number but tracking doesn't run. Indicators orange is lighting and blue is flashing, but no tracking LEDs I can see. I've tryed to isolate it, tried to use an active USB hub, tryed to use another OS at the same machine but nothing helps. What could it be?

Kind regards
