Thanks for a great product- now these flight sims are playable!
I'm using an older Logitech Wingman Force joystick. When I assign joystick buttons for various tasks such as rudder and mixture using the Logitech software, use of these buttons during the sim will upset the TrackIR, i.e. the view changes, or vertical tracking is lost, and the assigned button functions do not work. Can this joystick be made compatible with TrackIR?
Thanks

Re: Joystick Buttons
SDS,
Is sounds like one of your buttons is configured to fire a keystroke in the sim that is one and the same as one of the TrackIR hotkeys - this would produce the effect you're describing.
Aside from that, if you have EITHER device plugged into an unpowered USB hub, try a powered hub instead or directly into the PC (packets can be lost with unpowered hubs and this might explain the tracking loss).
If none of the above, try isolating the problem further by making sure your sim works perfectly with ONLY your Track IR and no joystick and vice versa, then post more info if you can.
-Best of luck,
Timh.
