Track IR4 software not loading after resume from sleep?

Try doing a clean install of the software, and pointing to the latest driver folder, when it detects the hardware.

Sorry for the delay in getting back, I travel in my work most weeks and have been out of town.

By clean install, are you saying to uninstall the software, then reinstall again? I will give that a try and see what happens.
I am not sure I understand, what you mean when yyou say, pointing to the latest driver folder when it detects the hardware?

If I recall, when I installed this latest beta sofware the other day, I just installed the software and then plugged it in and off I went, I don't recall it detecting new hardware?

I will await a reply, just want to confirm the proper steps to go through when reinstalling, and try when I return on Friday.

Remove the TrackIR software by doing the following:
a. Click "Start"
b. Click on the "Control Panel"
c. Click "Add/Remove Programs"
d. Find "TrackIR" and click "Change/Remove"
e. Once launched it will give the option to completely remove it.
f. Delete the NaturalPoint folder at the following location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint
g. Download and reinstall the software from the following location,
http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/06- ... nuals.html

Hey Vincent,

I did as you suggested, so far so good.
I have slept the system 3 times, and each time it has worked after resuming. May be to soon to tell, but looking good so far. I will have to run out for a bit in a few minutes, will sleep it while I am gone and see how it does when I get back.

Ok, just got back, system was in sleep mode for almost an hour, just resumed and TIR4 still launches as it should.

Hopefully that did the trick this time, many thanks!

Thank, the update did it, yes.

But can I accpect it to keep on working if I pause a gaming session by putting the PC to sleep mode, and then wake it up again, not needing to do any thing extra???

Well, what I do expirience is that I have to quit the game session, then shut down and restart the TrackIR to make it work, and then restart the game.

It would be nice if I just could pause it all to sleep mode - and the come back, wake it all up and just keep on playing!!!

Is this not supported or do I have a foulty install???

I tend not to use the sleep mode at all, but the software should be fine
