Strange Behaviour

Post by davenicoll »

Hello,
I have been using Track Clip 4 for sometime now without a single problem...up until now...

I have changed nothing...and yet when i load up FS 2004 and load the default ...any profile for that matter I am looking at the rear of the cabin and aircraft...

Even pressing F12 to center makes no difference....i can move my head and it tracks but it's all backwards facing...

What on earth is going on???

Any help would be appreciated!!!

Looking at the Tracking screen, TrackIR software -> View -> Tracking, what do you see here?

In Views/Tracking....

I see 3 green dots..

if you take a 12hr clock...

The top green dot being 12 o'clock

2nd green dot very close...2 o'clock

3rd green dot further down.....5 o'clock

does this make sense...

should this be happening...

do i need to re install??

OK, that sounds ok, for the TrackClip Pro.

Any add-ons installed for FS2004 recently?

You have the trackclip pro selected in the different gaming profiles?

Remove the TrackIR software by doing the following:
a. Click "Start"
b. Click on the "Control Panel"
c. Click "Add/Remove Programs"
d. Find "TrackIR" and click "Change/Remove"
e. Once launched it will give the option to completely remove it.
f. Delete the NaturalPoint folder at the following location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint
g. Download and reinstall the software from the following location,
http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/06- ... nuals.html

Yes,

Done that....

Now i am sitting on the floor of the cabin looking at the panel correctly....

However,

If i tilt my head down...the game looks up...

If I look right the game looks left and so on..

Also, F12 will not centre the game...grrrrrrrrrrr

this just happened out of the blue and is now spoiling my fun...grrrrrr

OK, look at the settings screen - view->tracking->settings, is the rotation set to anything other than 0?

In the different profiles, is trackclip pro selected?

Invert option selected in the profiles?

What is the hotkey currently set to in the hotkey tab?
