I used my track IR4 now for two months with BlackShark. It is working, but the view is not very stable, if i dont look ahead.
If I look down too far, the view is flipping around, and i have to reset. I did disable the Z axis, because it didnt work right. I learned to live with it. (software 4.1.36)
Yesterday i mounted my old Track IR3 with vector expansion. And now the big surprise: I can look down 90 degrees - no flipping. I can turn 180, roll my head and shift all together - still working perfect. I couldnt believe it.
Any ideas, what i can change with my trackIR4 to work like that?
Anybody who did experience the same ?
One thing that i found: the green dots look much bigger with v3. With v4 the dots allmost vanish if i turn the head. Perhaps that has something to do with it.
Track IR 4 vs. 3
Re: Track IR 4 vs. 3
When looking at the position of the cameras, are they slightly above or below the clip level?
Are you using the Track clip, or the Track clip pro?
How far away from the cameraa are you?

Re: Track IR 4 vs. 3
I think I have solved that. It must have been a coincidance.
Obviously I had the bad habit to pull the cab too far down.
When testing IR3 I by chance did wear it right.
Perhaps that would be a good hint for everybody with flipping
view when looking down )
