Hi,

i have an TrackIR 4 Pro.

I ran a TrackIR supported game (Janes F18 with TSHv4 mod which brings the support), i never had problems with so far.
Due to its an old game, it sometimes crashes or freezes.
After a recent freeze i had to hard reset the computer with a long power switch press. After that i rebooted immediateley.

After that reboot my TrackIR does not work properly anymore. When i run the Software, the green LED starts flashing for a short time (as always) but it does not keep on long, nor do the red LEDs turn on.

The software keeps running without any message.
It shows the correct device id, but in the status bar there is : "Status : no data" (or "Keine Daten" in german). Also there is no image in the tracking window.

Whether the software is running or not, the top green LED from time to time blinks once. I think usually it was the blue one that did the blink stuff.

I hope it is not broken ?
It is currently quite hot in the room, does "heat" affect the device's health ?

Hm,

it's back working.

make sure you powered the pc with a good horsepower of wattage..

I had this problem and the solution was a 800W power supply. Try it..
