Posting on behalf of a friend who tried updating his TrackIR driver (to TrackIR 5?). Apparently the download stopped halfway through, and so he tried uninstalling everything...however he can't use Add/Remove programs because it can't find some file or other. Deleting the TrackIR folders isn't allowed because of a shared dll (cameradll.dll), and he's tried reinstalling from the disc but it stops with an error about needing to uninstall the previous version. Have got him to delete all Registry entries under NaturalPoint.

Bit garbled I know, but does anyone have any suggestions?

Is the TrackIR camera still plugged into the system?

Have you rebooted the system?

Try renaming the cameradll file
