TrackIR 4 Dead Again?

This is the second time my TrackIR 4 has died for no apparent reason. The first one happend a few years ago and you guys replaced it. The second one died a few days ago. It well beyond resonable warranty so I am not asking for a replacement. In fact, I've already purchased a replacement. I would just like to know if there is any known cause.
