TrackIR problem with DCS: A-10C

I am using a TrackIR 4 with v. 5.0.300 software on a Windows 7 64 bit machine. I have been successfully using it with various F4 games, Flaming Cliffs 2, and KA-50.

I just installed DCS: A-10C but get no "blue light" on initialization of the game - indicating that the device must not be recognized. Consequently, it does not work in the game. What am I doing wrong?

Anyone have any ideas? Also it works fine with FSX and X-Plane.

In order for DCS A-10C to work properly, you must be running version 5.1 Beta 2 or higher. The latest version of software will work just fine, you can find it here

Uninstall your previous version of TrackIR
Download and save the latest version (do not run from the download)
Right click on the installer and select "Run as administrator"
Continue the installation normally
