TIR in ArmA - look and lock? (HMD style) possible?

Is it possible in ArmA to use TIR as an HMD (helmet mounted display) while flying, which can aquire targets?
I wish to use it as in real life, and aquire targets not directly in my line of flight and thus slave my gun to the target,
aquring the target next to the dot that represnts my line of sight (look and lock) like in the AH-64 gunships.
this way in a multi target envrionment you can pick your target over the shoulder and not point the chopper
at them and browse through them and posibly get killed until you reach the correct one...

is there a mod for it or is it possible in game already?

I currently don't believe that that is possible, and I haven't heard of any mods which allow that......
