Headset Compatability

Post by Stigler »

Hi

I am considering buying trackir & pro clip but I am a bit of a trackir noob. I have recently invested in a new headset, the razer manOwar wireless headset. My question, is trackir, and specifically the pro clip, compatible with this device?

Looking at the measurements I suspect it won't be, however the headset band does narrow to 3/4' width up to 1 3/4' in height depending upon how the headband is adjusted. In simple terms it could connect here according to the clip spec, however what I don't know is how much room the clip needs, if that makes sense.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

So a week on and nothing from anyone at naturalpoint. Obviously not intersted in encouraging new customers. Very disappointing.

Anyway, on a more positive note I have contacted rc simulations, which is a uk dealer. They have been most helpful and have communicated with me within a few hours of me emailing them.

Light at the end of the tunnel.

Stigler,

I apologize for not getting to this sooner. We've been incredibly busy and it's put a strain on my response time to the forums. I am glad that RC Simulations was able to help you out more readily than myself.

From what I can tell the TrackClip PRO should fit on the Man O War headset on the smaller part of their band "3/4' width". Our site lists the clip specifications for the TrackClip PRO as "Compatible with headset bands up to 1 1/4″ wide and up to 1/2″ thick"
