Runtime error

Hello, first post (*and problem!).

Unexpectedly, my Track IR4 software (latest version) will not start. What is displayed is

"Runtime error! This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way....."

Can anyone help?

Which operating system are you using? XP or Vista, and which version?
Which TIR software version are you using?

Running any other applications in the background?

Is this before or after starting a gaming application?

Hello,

I'm running XP SP3 and TrackIR doesn't fire up either before or during an FS2004 session. Other than what is running during FS2004 - which is Active Sky 6.5, - there are no non standard apps running.

I have removed TrackIR 3.036 and reinstalled to no effect.

In the following folder location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR4\Profiles, what is the file size for each profile?

So the software isn't loading, when selecting the shortcut key, or it just isn't detecting the gaming application?

The three profiles show 2Kb each. The software isn't loading - either in or out of game. I just get that error message re runtime.

Remove the TrackIR software by doing the following:
a. Click "Start"
b. Click on the "Control Panel"
c. Click "Add/Remove Programs"
d. Find "TrackIR" and click "Change/Remove"
e. Once launched it will give the option to completely remove it.
f. Delete the NaturalPoint folder at the following location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint
g. Download and reinstall the software from the following location,
