Trouble clinging to headset.

Post by Zaks88 »

Before I start, I would like to state that I'm using a Plantronics Gamecom 367.

My TrackClip Pro is having trouble staying on my headset, every day it will just slide down after releasing itself. I don't think it clips on properly, or I'm doing something wrong.
I have had two TrackClip Pros and as far as I'm aware I don't think there's anything wrong with my second one. The first one worked fine and I didn't have any problems. Maybe I've missed something this time?

The clamp of the TrackClip Pro features a c-shaped hinge socket, to allow the clamp to dislocate itself for larger headphones. Occasionally, the pin rests somewhere off of the endpoints of the c shaped groove. I would try applying a bit of pressure to the back of the outside of the hinge, and see if it snaps back into place. If it is popping open because the headphone band is too thick, try sliding the outside of the clamp away from the locking mechanism, and around so that it opens a bit wider to relieve a bit of pressure.

There is a diagram of this in the quick start guide for the TrackClip Pro, found here:

I think I have it sorted now, it wasn't because my headset was too chunky (although it is pretty chunky), because my old TrackClip Pro worked. I think it was stuck at one of the points in the C. Thanks :)
