I am very intersted in this mod. However, I am going the route of a USB wireless charger with Solar Panel.

When I plug the device in, it does not power up. I am trying to understand if this is the TrackClip Pro wanting to have some kind of USB command to turn it on? Or if it's the device itself.

My hope is that the TrackClip Pro should simply work by providing 5V and nothing else?

Can anyone help me to understand if that is the case?

Thank you,
Kevin

Hello -

The TrackClip Pro does not use the data pair. It's just on when it's plugged in and off when it's not. Try plugging it into your computer and seeing if it works there. Also, you may want to check the power coming off of your usb charger.

Thanks Mike.

when I plug the trackclip pro into the charger. nothing. Into the computer it works. Weird.

Anyone have any batter packs that work?

Thanks! Would really like to get away from the reflecter version, and use the trackclip. For me, it seems to work much better.

Kevin

I'd suggest putting it on a meter and seeing what the voltage and current coming off of the charger is.

Bluetooth adds too much latency to use the camera properly.

Mike:

I am soooooo interested in this, but don't have the technical savvy ...are there some options from Natural Point to get this done? I bought a PX3 wireless headset so I wouldn't have to worry about cords, then I got the Track Clip Pro.

Thanks
