Dear all,
I really need help
I am using Optitrack Arena product. I tried to import captured .FBX file format into MAYA 2012 but say Error: the file is corrupted. I also tried to import .FBX and .BVH files into Motion Builder but failed to do so too. However, I was able to import .FBX file downloaded from other websites into MAYA.
FYI, Im using MAYA and Motion Builder on Mac. The Optitrack Arena Im using is on PC.
What is the problem?
Thanks for any replies.

Re: .FBX, .BVH failed to import into MAYA and MotionBuilder
maybe you dont have add and update on the fbx import options checked.
Just try to open the file in motionbuilder should be fine but slow, see if Autodesks free fbx converter opens it, and if so convert it to FBX 2012 and you should be fine.

I have same problem, with file formats in optitrack Arena:
- Fbx have a big Lag in animation and movements are not realtime.
- C3d got problems in retargeting.
- only good solution is BVH.
But we have a lot of files Corrupted.
Problem are resolved when you export your trayectorize data in 120fps. Work fine for me.
if you have another solution for that give me a message
