Any chance you all could populate the "w" value of a point in c3d, with the residual, as per the c3d spec?
Since systems can have more than 8 cameras, I think the camera coverage section of that value is not so useful. Though it would be really nice to be able to get the number of constructing rays out of there somehow. Maybe an option to encode that data in said available byte rather than 0? Since said byte is completely irrelevant to all modern systems with more than 8 cams (most professional systems).
